The MOB held it's 4th Annual Banquet on January 31st at Company Shops Gallery in Burlington. Just as the previous year banquets, the evening was filled with good food, good music, good times, and, most importantly, great friends. Awards were given out for 2008 Member Of The Year, 2008 Car Of The Year, and the 2008 Founder's Award. Darrell Hinshaw was awarded both Member Of The Year and Car Of The Year honors. The Founder's Award was presented to Anne Sebastion.
As in the past, the MOB website will be redesigned to proudly display Darrell's beautiful Zinc Yellow 2003 Mach1. The new design should be up soon.

Today, 2/8/09, at 3:15pm, the world lost Bill Jones. I could go on for hours on how great of a man Bill was, but I think it's best to let you read what myself and other MOB members thought of him. Godspeed Bill.
On October 18th, The Mustangs Of Burlington held a cruise-in at Beef O' Bradys. This cruise-in was to benefit Burlington Police Officer David Millspaugh. David was recently diagnosed with Sarcoma, which is a rare form of cancer. Unfortunately, David does not have disability/cancer insurance, so The Mustangs Of Burlington and Beef O' Bradys joined forces and donated all proceeds to Officer Millspaugh and his family.
The cruise-in was a HUGE success. We raised over $2,300 for David and his family.
Thanks to everyone who came out to support David! And a big thank you to Max from Beef O' Bradys for hosting the cruise-in and for donating 15% of all proceeds during the cruise-in.
On September 21st, the MOB held it's annual meeting to elect club officers for the next term. This year, we had 5 positions remain unchanged. Our new Vice-Chairman is Mark B. and our new Treasurer is Kathy C. Catherine S. and Donna S. held these postions for the previous term and did a wonderful job.
We would like to take this opportunity to give a great big THANK YOU to all of the officers from our previous term; Darrell H., Catherine S., Nadia P., Bill J., Donna S., and Anne S. The club wouldn't be the same without all of the hard work you each put into it.

The 7th year of Mustang Week is now in the books. One again, several MOB members headed to Myrtle Beach to help with parking, judging, and other odds & ends. The week was filled with many events including the car show on Friday and the "East Coast's Largest Mustang Cruise-In" on Saturday. This year, Saleen Inc. selected Mustang Week to be the event where they unveiled their new Racecraft brand. This goes to show just how much Mustang Week has grown and has become recognized as one of the mecas for Mustangs.

This year's BPD/MOB Car Show was an overwhelming success. With over 120 cars registered to show or display, this was our biggest and best show yet. When all was said and done, we had raised $3,411.00 for the Burlington Police Department Explorers Program! A huge thanks to Dillards and Alamance Crossing for allowing us to have the show there and to everyone who brought out a car or came to spectate! See you at the 2009 show!!!!!!

On March 22nd, The MOB held a benefit cruise-in at Beef O'Bradys for Candie Dombrowski, the wife of one of our members. Candie is in need of a kidney transplant and all proceeds that we raised were donated to the NTAF South-Atlantic Kidney Transplant Fund in her name. All told, we raised $425.00!! Thanks to everyone who came out to participate and a big thanks to Beef O'Bradys for allowing us to hold the cruise-in at their establishment.
